Fee - £4 per family and £10 per organisation per annum (longer loan and themed sets by arrangement)
Loan Period - Normally two weeks, or longer by arrangement
Loan Charges - Between 50p and £2.50 per item, per fortnight.
Venue - All Saints First School, Cheadle Road, Leek, Staffordshire, U.K.
Opening hours - Every Wednesday, 9.15a.m. - 11.30a.m. including school holidays. Refreshment available. Prams and Pushchairs welcome. Baby Changing Facilities.
Toys Stocked - over 600 toys, games and DVD's for children aged 0 - 8 years. Equipment includes:- Electronic learning games, outdoor play equipment, jigsaws. educational games, interactive toys, cd roms, role play equipment, construction toys, DVD's, Story CD's and special needs equipment.
Play Facilities - Play equipment will be available for children to use during the session. Carers must supervise their own children. Occasional art and craft or music activities etc. may be on offer during the session.
Conditions of Membership
Toys may only be borrowed by the member, or in the case of groups, by the nominated representatives who have completed a membership form. Proof of identity may be requested.
Membership
Any changes of address of the member or representative must be notified to the Toy Library immediately.
Toys must be returned in good condition on the due date shown. Unless there are exceptional circumstances (e.g. illness)
Overdue toys will be charged for at the original loan fee, except in exceptional circumstances.
For toys lost or damaged, the member or representative must make a payment towards the cost of replacement or repair(Fair wear and tear excepted)
The Toy Library will take steps to recover toys that are not returned.
The Toy Library reserves the right to revise its charges.
Children attending the Toy Library are the responsibility of the carer.
Leek & Moorlands Community Toy Library accepts no liability for loss, damage or injury, including injury resulting in death, however caused, save where such loss or damage or injury is solely due to the negligence of any representative.
It is the member's responsibility to inspect the toys and ensure that they are suitable for the proposed use and the age of the child concerned.
