New home for the Toy Library

Many of you may be aware of the new School building which has been built on the old top car park at All Saints. The build has now completed and we have started operating from here as from Wed 17th September. We have yet to sort out all the storage issues so the first few weeks may mean we do not have easy access to all our stock. We are working very hard to get this sorted out but please be patient with us in the meantime! I hope you find our new home a big improvement over the hall.

All Saints Summer Fayre

Thanks to the school for a stall at the Summer Fayre on 7th June. We ran a few competitions and sold a few items. All in all we raised nearly £30 for Toy Library funds

Cake Sale

The cake sale and coffee morning held at Trinity Church on Sat 26th April was a great success. We raised a total of £133.52 for toy library funds. Thanks to everyone who helped on the day, baked cakes or made a purchase.

Funding Successes

We are able to report some good news for the Toy Library funds. We have secured funding for the following exciting projects for 2008:

- new computerised catalogue/hire system (Toybase). Also we have kindly been donated a second hand laptop for this project by Britannia Building Society.

- A new publicity drive; including new leaflet/posters etc, press advertising

- New toys and storage facilities

We hope to bring these new facilities on line as soon as possible but we are aiming to organise a grand 'relaunch' of the library during the summer holidays. Keep a lookout on this site for further news!
