The Toy Library is a friendly and inviting place to bring your children from the age of 0 - 11. It allows parents to "borrow" a choice of over 600 toys, games and DVD's to give their children variety and to increase their education and imagination. It gives parents the chance to try out new toys before making a purchase; to get the benefits of toys without the expence and storage room of purchasing toys (and to be a bit 'greener' too!)
The equipment includes electronic learning games, outdoor play equipment, jigsaws, educational games, interactive toys, role play equipment, construction toys, dressing-up costumes and special needs equipment. Come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, juice and fruit for the children and a biscuit with us while the children play with the toys.
You'll find us in the main hall of All Saints First School, Cheadle Road, Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 5QY and we have weekly play/hire sessions from 9:15am till 11:15am every Wednesday (see home page for diary)
We currently receive funding/support from:

Give-it-sum fund

Announcements
Can we remind all of our visitors to the Toy Library play sessions that we would be very grateful if you could observe the following simply ground rules:
- All children should be supervised and not allowed to 'run wild' (including throwing toys around, bullying other children, screaming & shouting etc)
- Please try and avoid children wandering around with food and drinks, this leads to spillages and food being left on the floor etc.
- If your child does make a mess, we would encourage you (and them) to clear up/tidy up afterwards, including placing rubbish in the bin
- Please ensure that you get all items properly booked out AND in again - otherwise we can get very confused!
- The volunteers would very much appreciate some assistance towards the end of the session to start to collect toy together/ tidy up.
Please remember the Toy Library works with the support of unpaid volunteers and with the co-operation of all the users. Please treat the facilities with the same respect you would wish visitors to treat your property.
Many thanks
Leek Toy Library Committee
